LAS VEGAS ACES MAKE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT BEFORE GAME AGAINST INDIANA FEVER

The Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever are set to play a very highly anticipated game on Tuesday night that will feature a lot of talented WNBA stars. Headlined by Caitlin Clark and A'ja Wilson, this Fever-Aces battle projects to be one of the more viewed games this season.

Las Vegas will be heavily favored over Indiana, as they enter this game with a 10-6 record on the season. Indiana is still trying to reach an even .500 on the year, sitting at 8-12 on the season.

Ahead of this game against Indiana, Las Vegas announced that they had waived rookie center Jessika Carter:

Carter was selected 23rd overall by the New York Liberty in the 2024 WNBA Draft, but was waived shortly after and signed with the Aces. Appearing in just two games for Las Vegas this season, Carter was not in their rotation, and is now a free agent.

In five collegiate seasons as Mississippi State, Carter averaged an impressive 11.6 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per game. These averages jumped to 14.9 points per game and 9.9 rebounds per game in Carter's final season, which helped her get drafted in the second round of this year's WNBA Draft.

Just two weeks ago, Carter revealed that signing with the Aces was one of the best moments in her life:

Clearly possessing a lot of talent, Carter should get another opportunity in the WNBA at some point, but she will not be on the Las Vegas roster when they host the Fever on Tuesday night.
