WNBA MAKES GROUNDBREAKING ANGEL REESE, NIKA MUHL ROOKIE ANNOUNCEMENT

The WNBA is experiencing unprecedented growth in this 2024 season.

Much of this is due to the new crop of rookies that have appeared in the league this year.

Names such as Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Nika Muhl, Rickea Jackson, Kamilla Cardoso, and Cameron Brink have become household names due to their successful college careers, and are furthering that success at the professional level.

And the WNBA has found the perfect way to capitalize on that.

On Wednesday, the WNBA announced “Year 1”, which is a four-episode docuseries that focuses on four rookies' (Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso, Rickea Jackson, and Nika Muhl) first seasons in the WNBA.

The WNBA announced this exciting new series with an Instagram post on Wednesday, which featured behind the scenes clips of all four rookies as they navigate their way through their first professional seasons.

The league has also noted that the series' first episode is already available on the WNBA App.

This is surely can't-miss, never before seen content from four of the leagues biggest superstars.

Props to the WNBA for capitalizing on the major marketing opportunity this rookie class has afforded.

We can't wait to see what the series unfolds.
