MARCH MADNESS STAR DJ BURNS SIGNS WITH NBA TEAM AFTER DRAFT SNUB

The 2024 NBA Draft has passed, and we are now in the undrafted free agent signing period.

One major player passed on in the draft was NC State Wolfpack star DJ Burns.

Burns led the Wolfpack to an NCAA Tournament appearance after a Cinderella run in the ACC Tournament. NC State won the ACC title after finishing the season as the No. 10 seed, but their run didn't stop there.

With Burns leading the way, the No. 11 seeded Wolfpack made an incredible run to the Final Four but saw their season end with a loss to Zach Edey and the Purdue Boilermakers.

After this run, it was surprising to see Burns go undrafted. But an NBA team has given him a chance.

This opportunity could be a game-changer for Burns, allowing him to showcase his skills on a larger platform. It could potentially open doors for him, such as an invitation to the Cavaliers' training camp or that of another team, underscoring the potential career opportunities his weight loss could bring.

At 275 pounds, Burns' size might have been a factor in not getting drafted. However, a recent photo has revealed that he has shed some weight. Will this transformation enhance his chances of making a team in the upcoming season?
