LEGENDARY WNBA STAR ADMITS CAITLIN CLARK IS BEING TREATED 'UNFAIRLY'

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are once again scheduled to take on Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Sunday afternoon.

The game, which will air nationally on ESPN, is set to begin at 4 p.m. E.T. It should be a good one.

While the debate surrounding Clark's place - and treatment - in the WNBA has somewhat died down in recent weeks, many are still speaking out about it. This includes legendary WNBA star Sue Bird.

Bird, one of the best guards in WNBA history, admitted that Clark has been treated unfairly, especially in the media, with too much weight being placed on her shoulders.

“Sometimes it feels like the weight of the WNBA is on her shoulders… that is both a compliment and warranted…but also a little bit unfair to put so much on her.. you watch the games and she’s not even getting that many great looks. Some of that is the other team’s defense… she’s played two of the top defensive teams in the league…. but some of that is figuring it out," Bird said back in May.

Clark has been playing much better of late, leading the Fever on a multi-game winning streak.

We'll see if the success can continue on Sunday afternoon.
