JALEN MILROE ISSUES WARNING TO REST OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL ABOUT ALABAMA OFFENSE

One of the biggest stories that made waves during the 2023 college football season revolved around Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe.

Despite a shaky start to last season, Milroe fought to overcome all adversity against him and emerge as the vocal leader for the Tide. He would find himself benched against South Florida, but came back as the starter the following week and would only improve his game throughout the year. However, signs of inconsistency and indecisiveness still showed as Alabama's offense wouldn't reach the full potential that many fans expected.

Entering into the 2024 season, massive changes have swept through Tuscaloosa, which has lead to more questions rather than answers.

SEC Unfiltered provided a video on X of an interview with Jalen Milroe, where he provided insight of what to expect from Alabama's offense in 2024.

Milroe would go on to make these positive claims:

“We’re gonna be very explosive on offense…one thing I can definitely say we’re not gonna be is one dimensional."

This is exciting and hopeful news for Tide fans, as many anticipate to see the progression of Milroe and the offensive scheme that Kalen DeBoer will bring to the Tide.

We know the story of Michael Penix Jr. in 2023, where the Heisman Trophy runner-up would lead the Washington Huskies to an undefeated season before losing to Michigan in the championship game. The progression of Penix Jr. from 2022 to 2023 was staggering, and this should prove the quarterback development skills that DeBoer possesses.

However, we cannot tell what will be the outcome once the season starts. Milroe, DeBoer and Alabama must be tested, and their schedule presents gruesome stretches and challenges.

If this offense proves to be high powered and unpredictable, it will put Alabama in a tremendous spot to compete for another national championship. Only time will tell if this all will come to fruition.
