FORMER ALL-SEC FLORIDA GUARD RILEY KUGEL ANNOUNCES TOP FOUR SCHOOLS

Former Florida guard Riley Kugel announced his top four schools on Thursday. The 6-foot-5 guard entered the transfer portal on March 27 after two seasons with the Gators.

Kugel's top schools are Arizona, UConn, Houston, and Kansas.

Kugel saw action in 65 games for the Gators, averaging 9.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. He started the first 11 games this season, including a season-high 23 points against Loyola Maryland in the season-opener.

He earned SEC All-Freshman honors in 2022-23 after averaging 12.6 points per game in conference play, which is the highest average by a freshman at Florida since Bradley Beal in 2011-12.

Kugel signed with the Gators as a four-star prospect out of Orlando, Florida. He was the No. 56 overall prospect and No. 4 shooting guard in the class of 2022, according to 247Sports.
