CHRISTIE SIDES, FEVER MAKE GRAVE MISTAKE IN LOSS TO ACES

Despite being one of the hottest teams in the WNBA as of late, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever were unable to take down one of the league's best teams in the Las Vegas Aces. Though the Fever kept the game within reach through the first three quarters, they were unable to hang with Las Vegas in the fourth.

Despite having a poor shooting performance as a team, Indiana elected to not play the player with the highest net and offensive rating on the team, Lexie Hull.

This was a winnable game for the Fever, but they lacked efficiency and production on the offensive front. Choosing to not play Hull for a single minute is a very questionable decision, as she can also provide support on the defensive end. Christie Sides has been taking in a lot of heat for her questionable decision making, and this move certainly doesn't help her case.

The duo of Kelsey Plum and A'ja Wilson was virtually unstoppable, finishing with a combined 62 points and 15 rebounds. However, there wasn't much production elsewhere aside from Jackie Young who posted 15 points and 10 assists for the Aces. Had there been more of a fight offensively from the Fever, this could have been a very close game.
