CHENNEDY CARTER SENDS BLUNT MESSAGE TO CAITLIN CLARK FAN AFTER SKY, FEVER LOSS
Chennedy Carter became a household name after she shoulder-checked Caitlin Clark to the ground during the Chicago Sky's June 1 game against the Indiana Fever.
While that incident is now firmly in the rearview, one Clark fan recalled that his disdain for Carter has since shifted on Thursday.
"I don't like Chennedy Carter since she had issues with my girl CC .At this point my dislike isn't strong enough to deny that's she's great hooper," X user @bigsam1305 wrote.
And this post prompted a respectful response from Carter herself.
"this made me smile lol you a real one," Carter responded to the post.
It's worth nothing that Clark and Carter don't appear to have any continued bad blood.
The two faced off once against on Sunday, and there were no incidents between them.
In fact, both players have been in excellent form so far this season.
Carter has clearly found her groove alongside Angel Reese on the Sky, and Clark is still draining deep three pointers and attracting massive fans to games.
Although both the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky suffered defeats on Thursday night, Carter and Clark are still winning right now.
