CAITLIN CLARK USED ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE FEVER STAR’S INJURY RETURN

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are gearing up to take on the Seattle Storm on Thursday, June 27, at 10:00 PM EST.

After the Chicago Sky's loss to the Las Vegas Aces, the Fever currently hold a spot in the WNBA playoffs. They need to secure a win over the Storm to keep it for the time being.

Prior to the game, Indiana received a significant injury update regarding their standout forward Temi Fagbenle. It was confirmed that she would be available for the Fever-Storm game, but would be limited in terms of playing time.

During a pregame interview, Clark expressed her anticipation to play with her teammate Fagbenle, who is returning after missing multiple games. The former Iowa Hawkeye needed just one word to describe playing with Fagbenle again: "Excited."

"Yeah, I'm super excited to have Temi back. I think, not only is she a great basketball player, but she's a really good leader for us... I'm excited to get her back. I know it will probably take a little time to fully get back to where she was, but the more depth and options that we can have is better for us," Clark said. Fagbenle has been out since May 28 after suffering a left foot injury. She missed the previous 11 games for the Fever, and her return will be key for them going forward.
