There were plenty of interesting college football games on Saturday.
That included a fun shootout between LSU and Ole Miss at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
Ole Miss got the victory, 55-49, in a game coming down to the wire. While Ole Miss advanced to 4-1 on the season, LSU dropped to 3-2 on the year.
During his postgame press conference, head coach Brian Kelly had a message for everyone following their second loss this season.
“There was some resiliency to the group, but we have a long way to go. Listen, we’re not canceling the season, okay? We’re going to be there and work our tails off to get better. It was gut-wrenching. It was a difficult loss and our guys felt it, too.
“We’re going to go back to work, and we’re going to work our tails off to get better. We’re going to work to get our offense even better and hopefully, that’ll be good enough to go up to Columbia and back on the road in an SEC matchup against a really good team to get a win. We’re trying to get through week-to-week now. Day-by-day. That’s going to be our focus."
