REPORT: MIKE MCCARTHY 'FED UP' WITH JERRY JONES

The Dallas Cowboys chose to keep head coach Mike McCarthy following his team's stunning playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers in January.

But that doesn't mean Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is 100 percent in on his head coach. In fact, the pressure has probably been amped up heading into the 2024 season.

According to a report, McCarthy is getting "fed up" with some of Jones' tactics.

"McCarthy’s doing it the best he can. Some of the people I’ve talked to have said that he’s getting fed up with it a little bit," Ty Dunne reported this weekend.

McCarthy is entering the final year of his contract, but Jones isn't worried about any "hot seat" talk.

"I’m not concerned about that," Jones told USA TODAY Sports.

"Most of America gets up and they don’t have it guaranteed in front of them. You’re going to write what you’re going to write, but when you ask me about not extending him, my answer is that most of America doesn’t have anything guaranteed down the road. Most folks don’t have guarantees."

The Cowboys are scheduled to open the 2024 season on Sunday, Sept. 8 against the Cleveland Browns.
