Kenny Pickett's outing in Houston this Sunday afternoon went from bad to worse just moments ago.
Pickett went down in serious pain with what appeared to be a lower leg injury in the fourth quarter vs. the Texans.
Luckily, he was able to get to his feet. But the former Pitt star was unable to put any weight on his leg. He will not return, the Steelers announced Sunday afternoon.
Not only will the Steelers end up losing to the Texans; it looks like Pickett may miss some time with an injury. Prayers are pouring in for the second-year NFL quarterback.
"Bad news, #Steelers QB Kenny Pickett has been ruled OUT for the rest of the game with his inury. Mitch Trubisky will go the rest of the way," said Dov Kleiman.
"Hopefully it is nothing serious," one fan wrote.
"Hope it’s not too serious," another fan commented.
"Canada should be fired just for letting that happen," a fan said.
"I hope it’s not bad but with this coaching staff the ship was sinking anyway," a fan said.
Hopefully, it's not a serious injury for Kenny Pickett. But based on his reaction, it doesn't look good.
