LAS VEGAS RAIDERS WR DEPTH CHART PROJECTION AFTER JALEN GUYTON SIGNING

The Las Vegas Raiders made another addition to their wide receivers room in free agency recently, with the team signing former Los Angeles Chargers wideout, Jalen Guyton, who now joins fellow veteran wide receiver Michael Gallup as two of the newest additions to the Raiders' offense.

After not picking up a wide receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Raiders were not only lacking depth options, they were lacking bodies in general. General manager Tom Telesco has now shored up that concern with the two signings.

Here's a look at how things currently look on the Raiders' wide receiver depth chart following the Guyton deal. We've also made a projection for how things will look once the 53-man roster is finalized at the bottom of this article.

Current Raiders WR depth chart

Position Starter Backup Backup Backup
WR1 Davante Adams Michael Gallup Kristian Wilkerson Ramel Keyton
WR2 Jakobi Meyers Jalen Guyton Lideatrick Griffin
WR3 Tre Tucker DJ Turner Jeff Foreman

Our last depth chart iteration had Tucker not listed as a starter, but that has since changed. Tucker showed flashes last season and I think he's a bit underrated in the grand scheme of things, especially after the additions of Gallup and Guyton, both of whom have proven lackluster the past two years.

Gallup has some snaps in the slot during his career but is best suited working on the outside, which makes him an ideal fit as the first man off the bench to spell either Meyers or Adams. Guyton can play inside or out and offers a deep threat.

There is a ton of flexibility overall here, as Adams, Meyers, Tucker, Gallup and Guyton can all work out of different spots in the formation. Adding to that, first-round pick and tight end Brock Bowers can be moved around.

Of the three undrafted free agents listed here — Lideatrick Griffin, Jeff Foreman and Ramel Keyton — Griffin made our friend Dharya Sharma's list of the Raiders UDFAs with the best chance to make the 53-man roster, so keep an eye on him.

Here's what we think the depth chart will look like if the Raiders keep six wide receivers on their 53-man roster.

If the Raiders end up keeping a seventh, we'll go with DJ Turner, but it would be a total toss-up for that spot.
