After a busy start to free agency, the Philadelphia Eagles are shifting their focus toward the 2024 NFL Draft. As the Eagles continue to prepare for April’s event, it’s important to keep an eye on which prospects are visiting Philadelphia.
Eagles’ Recent Draft History Proves Value of 30 Visits
During Eagles general manager Howie Roseman’s tenure, the franchise has placed a high value on the team’s 30 allotted visits prior to each year’s draft. Often mistakenly referred to as “top-30 visits,” these interactions are incredibly important and used for a variety of reasons.
While on-field football workouts are strictly forbidden during these visits, teams are allowed to have meetings, review film, and perform their own medical evaluations of prospects.
Although teams will sometimes use these valuable visits as smokescreens to throw off opposing teams, the Eagles clearly place a high value on these limited interactions.
Philadelphia selected seven total players in the 2023 NFL Draft. Four of their first five selections last year visited Philadelphia during the pre-draft process.
Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, Tyler Steen, and Kelee Ringo all visited the City of Brotherly Love prior to the 2023 NFL Draft. Jordan Davis also visited Philadelphia prior to the draft in 2022.
Which 2024 NFL Draft Prospects Are Visiting the Eagles?
Based on their recent draft history, it’s clear that the Eagles use their 30 allotted visits on prospects who they are seriously interested in. Therefore, it’s worth keeping track of which prospects are reportedly scheduled to visit Philadelphia prior to the 2024 NFL Draft.
Caelen Carson, CB, Wake Forest
According to Caelen Carson on Instagram, Philadelphia will host the Wake Forest cornerback on a pre-draft visit. Carson posted a picture of himself at the NovaCare Complex on his Instagram story on April 8, clearly signaling a 30 visit with the team.
As the Eagles continue to host several defensive backs on 30 visits, Carson presents an interesting skill set as he specializes in press-man coverage. He would likely win over fans in Philadelphia immediately due to his tenacity and aggressiveness on the field. Carson also offers positional versatility with the ability to play both outside and slot cornerback.
Troy Fautanu, OL, Washington
According to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, Philadelphia will host Washington offensive lineman Troy Fautanu on a pre-draft visit. Fautanu caught the attention of Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland during on-field drills at the 2024 NFL Combine.
Philadelphia has shown tons of interest in Fautanu during the pre-draft process. Stoutland had an informal meeting with him at the Combine, the team met with Fautanu following his pro day, and now he’s traveling to Philadelphia for the most notable interaction of all.
Fautanu would immediately start at right guard and likely replace Lane Johnson whenever he misses games or eventually retires.
Jarrian Jones, CB, Florida State
According to Andrew DiCecco of Inside The Birds, Philadelphia will host Florida State cornerback Jarrian Jones, who has enjoyed quite a rise during the pre-draft process thanks to his impressive athletic testing at the Combine, on a pre-draft visit.
Jones is a competitive, aggressive cornerback who made the move inside to play slot CB in 2023. Given his versatility and experience playing both outside and inside, Jones is exactly the type of cornerback who could thrive in Vic Fangio’s defensive scheme.
Andru Phillips, CB, Kentucky
According to Jake Rabadi of The Liberty Line, Philadelphia will host Kentucky cornerback Andru Phillips on a pre-draft visit.
Phillips is a versatile corner who showcased his explosive ability with his vertical jump and broad jump at the Combine. He’s a player that the Eagles have continued to show interest in throughout the pre-draft process.

Not only is Phillips visiting the Eagles on one of their limited 30 visits, but he also had a formal meeting with Philadelphia at the Combine. Phillips could appeal to the team because of his experience playing both outside and slot cornerback.
Marshawn Kneeland, EDGE, Western Michigan
According to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, Philadelphia will host Western Michigan edge defender Marshawn Kneeland on a pre-draft visit. As of now, Kneeland is projected to be selected on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft, where the Eagles currently have two picks.
At 6’3″, 268 pounds, with 34″ arms, Kneeland checks several boxes as an edge defender at the next level.
He’s a powerful player who plays with maximum effort at all times. After an impressive performance at the Senior Bowl, Kneeland continues to rise up draft boards and could be a target for the Eagles on Day 2.

Trevin Wallace, LB, Kentucky
According to DiCecco, Philadelphia will host Kentucky linebacker Trevin Wallace on a pre-draft visit. After signing Devin White in free agency and waiting for the return of Nakobe Dean, the Eagles still have work to do at linebacker.
Wallace is an absurdly athletic LB with a high ceiling that Philadelphia is clearly interested in. The Eagles have focused on highly athletic players in recent drafts, and Wallace fits that mold.
Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
According to Geoff Mosher of Inside The Birds, Philadelphia will host UCLA edge defender Laiatu Latu on a pre-draft visit. Yet, Latu is projected to be selected before the Eagles are on the clock at No. 22.
Philadelphia likely wants to give their medical staff and trainers a chance to observe Latu’s neck, which forced him to medically retire in 2021. He returned to the field in 2022 and is regarded as one of the top EDGEs in this year’s draft class.
Ainias Smith, WR, Texas A&M
According to Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report, Philadelphia will host Texas A&M wide receiver Ainias Smith on a pre-draft visit. The team’s WR3 will have a much bigger role in Philadelphia, with new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore running the show.
The Eagles sent wide receivers coach Aaron Moorehead to watch Smith at Texas A&M’s Pro Day, making it clear that Philadelphia is intrigued by one of the most versatile players in this year’s stacked group of wide receivers.
Travis Glover, OL, Georgia State
According to Pauline, Philadelphia will host Georgia State offensive lineman Travis Glover on a pre-draft visit. Glover was snubbed and didn’t receive an invite to the 2024 NFL Combine but has shown flashes during the pre-draft process.
He impressed Jim Nagy at this year’s Senior Bowl and will likely be selected on Day 3 of the draft. Given his experience playing in both offensive tackle spots and left guard, Glover could develop into a valuable depth piece in the NFL.

According to Fowler, Philadelphia will host Texas A&M linebacker Edgerrin Cooper on a pre-draft visit. As Eagles fans continue to beg the franchise to invest in a significant asset at linebacker, Cooper could be the answer many have been searching for.
Cooper is widely regarded as the top linebacker prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft. Due to his size, athleticism, and versatility, Cooper is the ideal LB in today’s NFL. He also offers a ton of upside as a pass rusher, which could be valuable in Fangio’s scheme.
Zak Zinter, OL, Michigan
Fowler also mentions that Philadelphia will host Michigan guard Zak Zinter on a pre-draft visit. Following Jason Kelce’s retirement, starting right guard Cam Jurgens is expected to slide over to center. That will leave a void at RG that Philadelphia has yet to fill this offseason.
Although Zinter is recovering from a broken tibia and fibula suffered in November, he’s still regarded as one of the top guard prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Eagles likely want to allow their medical staff and trainers to see how Zinter is recovering from his injury.
Cooper DeJean, DB, Iowa
According to Chase Senior of Chat Sports, Philadelphia will host Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean on a pre-draft visit. Despite signing C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Tyler Hall, the Eagles still need to address the long-term needs in their secondary.

DeJean would serve as a versatile chess piece for Fangio to work with in Philadelphia’s secondary. He played all over Iowa’s secondary and showed the ability to be a game-breaking returner as well. If he falls to the Eagles in Round 1, it could be an easy selection for Philadelphia.
Tyler Guyton, OL, Oklahoma
According to Rabadi, Philadelphia will host Oklahoma offensive tackle Tyler Guyton on a pre-draft visit. Guyton has discussed his relationship with current Eagles starting RT Johnson due to their ties to Oklahoma.
While Johnson stated that he plans on playing several more years, Philadelphia could look to invest in his eventual replacement. Guyton would be able to learn for a few years behind Johnson while also serving as his backup when he inevitably misses time each season.
Khristian Boyd, DL, Northern Iowa
Rabadi also notes that Philadelphia will host Northern Iowa DT Khristian Boyd on a pre-draft visit. Following the retirement of Fletcher Cox, the Eagles have plenty of young talent along their defensive front, including Carter, Davis, and Milton Williams.

Yet, the Eagles are always looking to invest in the trenches, which is why they’re interested in Boyd. Despite being snubbed and not receiving an invite to the 2024 NFL Combine, Boyd is a likely Day 3 pick with traits that Philadelphia will find intriguing.

Cooper Beebe, OL, Kansas State

Brandon Coleman, OL, TCU
According to Devin Jackson of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia will host TCU guard Brandon Coleman, another offensive lineman with positional versatility, on a pre-draft visit.
Coleman started multiple games at both left tackle and left guard last season. He likely projects as a guard in the NFL but could provide Philadelphia with depth and play a similar role to what Jack Driscoll did in recent years.
Christian Mahogany, OL, Boston College
According to Fowler, Philadelphia will host Boston College guard Christian Mahogany on a pre-draft visit. After tearing his ACL in 2022, Mahogany established himself as one of the top guard prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft last season.
He’s athletic, and his toughness and tenacity will help him succeed at the next level. As the Eagles continue to search for their next starting RG, Mahogany could be their answer on Day 2 of this year’s draft.

It’s no secret that Stoutland enjoys working with elite athletes, and Rosengarten is one of the most athletic players in this year’s stacked draft class. Although Rosengarten played RT at Washington, some believe he’ll benefit from a move inside to guard in the NFL. He could be a target for the Eagles on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Johnny Wilson, WR, Florida State
According to John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Eagles will host Florida State WR Johnny Wilson on a pre-draft visit. Wilson is a freakishly large wide receiver at 6’6 3/8″ and 231 pounds that some believe could make the switch to tight end at the next level.
Although the Eagles already have A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith on their roster, Philadelphia could look to take advantage of the stacked group of wide receivers in the 2024 NFL Draft. Wilson would also provide a much different skillset at the position due to his size and surprising explosiveness.
Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
According to Schultz, Philadelphia will host Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry on a pre-draft visit. McKinstry is widely regarded as one of the top cornerbacks in this year’s draft class. While he lacks long speed, McKinstry is a smooth operator in coverage.
McKinstry’s on-ball production dropped in 2023 but there is no denying his coverage ability. He is well prepared and always communicating to avoid any confusion in the secondary, which could be a welcome sight in Philadelphia. If the Eagles are looking for a foundational player at outside cornerback, McKinstry could be their first round selection.
If the Eagles are looking for immediate competition at outside cornerback, McKinstry could be their target with the 22nd overall pick.
Decamerion Richardson, CB, Mississippi State
According to Rabadi, Philadelphia will host Mississippi State cornerback Decamerion Richardson on a pre-draft visit. Richardson has the size and length that teams want at cornerback in the NFL. Although he is just 188 pounds, Richardson is 6’2 1/4″ with 32 3/8″ arms.
Richardson has enjoyed quite a rise during the pre-draft process thanks to his impressive athletic testing numbers. The 23-year-old cornerback 4.34-second 40-yard dash and a 6.96 three-cone. Those times combined with his 35″ vertical jump, and a 10’8″ broad jump showcase just how high Richardson’s ceiling truly is.
Jalyx Hunt, EDGE, Houston Christian
According to DiCecco, Philadelphia will host Houston Christian edge Jalyx Hunt on a pre-draft visit. Hunt is a unique prospect given how new he is to playing on the edge, after making the switch from safety in 2022. While Hunt is surely raw as an edge defender, there is no denying his upside due to his athleticism and ability.
Hunt has the size that NFL teams will be drooling over at 6’3 3/4″, 252 pounds with 34 3/8″ arms and a 82 3/4″ wingspan. Hunt could be an ideal target for the Eagles on day two or early day three of the 2024 NFL Draft. He would be allowed to play a rotational role as a rookie, similar to the role that Nolan Smith played in 2023.
Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Philadelphia will host Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold on a pre-draft visit. Arnold is considered one of the top cornerbacks in the 2024 NFL Draft and will likely be selected before the No. 22 overall pick.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has shown the willingness to trade up in recent years and Arnold could be Philadelphia’s top target in a move on draft night. Arnold has all of the tools, both on and off the field, to be a foundational defensive player in Philadelphia.
MarShawn Lloyd, RB, USC
According to Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report, Philadelphia will host USC running back MarShawn Lloyd on a pre-draft visit. Despite signing Saquon Barkley, the Eagles are taking a closer look at one of the top running backs in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Lloyd has ascended up draft boards during the pre-draft process, thanks to impressive athletic testing. While there is no denying Lloyd’s ability on the field, his injury history will be a concern for teams. If his medical concerns cause Lloyd to fall, Philadelphia could target the talented running back on day three.
Adisa Isaac, EDGE, Penn State
According to Adisa Isaac’s recent post on his Instagram story, the Penn State edge rusher is visiting Philadelphia for a pre-draft visit. While Chop Robinson is receiving most of the attention as Penn State’s top edge rusher, Isaac will likely be selected on day two of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Isaac actually outplayed Robinson at Penn State each of the last two seasons. In his final two seasons with the Nittany Lions, Isaac totaled 27 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks. Isaac also showcased his athleticism at the 2024 NFL Combine and was a standout performer at this year’s Senior Bowl.
Blake Fisher, OT, Notre Dame
According to Matt Freeman of Irish Sports Daily, Philadelphia hosted Notre Dame OT Blake Fisher on a pre-draft visit. Fisher is viewed as a likely day two pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and offers tons of upside as an offensive tackle at the next level.
Fisher primarily started at right tackle for Notre Dame but is certainly capable of playing left tackle as well. He would make a ton of sense as an eventual replacement for Lane Johnson at right tackle in Philadelphia. Especially given one of Fisher’s biggest weaknesses is his anticipation of the snap count, which Johnson has clearly mastered.
Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina
According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, Philadelphia hosted South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette on a pre-draft visit. Legette is a polarizing prospect due to his lack of production prior to 2023.
Yet it is hard to dismiss Legette’s potential given his production last season and his unbelievable athletic testing. Given his versatility, Legette would fit in seamlessly in Philadelphia alongside DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown. Although there are some whispers of the Carolina Panthers targeting him early in the second round.
Elijah Jones, CB, Boston College
According to Andrew DiCecco of Inside The Birds, Philadelphia hosted Boston College cornerback Elijah Jones on a pre-draft visit. Jones is viewed as an early day three pick, which could be the perfect spot for Philadelphia to potentially select him with the No. 120 selection.
There are concerns about Jones’ size, as he weighed in at just 185 pounds at the NFL Combine. Yet he makes up for that with his length and competitiveness at the catch point. Jones also flourished at taking the ball away with five interceptions in 2023.
