THREE LANDING SPOTS EMERGE FOR KLAY THOMPSON AFTER NBA FREE AGENCY DECISION

Klay Thompson has spent over 13 years with the Warriors since being selected No. 11 overall by Golden State during the 2011 NBA Draft.

A 14th year in the Bay Area, however, appears to be unlikely for Klay as NBA insider Shams Charania reported Saturday that Thompson and Golden State are "braced for the end of an era."

Thompson, 34, is now expected to test out free agency - and it seems a market is already forming for the longtime Warriors guard.

Charania reports that the Lakers, Mavericks and Clippers are expected to be among "strong suitors" for Thompson in free agency.

One of the best pure shooters in NBA history, Thompson's prime featured six seasons of better than 41.4 percent shooting from beyond the arc. He made 44 percent of his three-point shots during the 2017-18 NBA season.

Thompson, however, has struggled to remain as efficient from long range in recent years.

He shot a near-career worst 38.7 percent from deep in 2023-24, almost matching his least efficient season in 2021-22 (38.5 percent).

Where would you like to see Thompson play in 2024-25?
