NIKA MUHL MAKES DISCOURAGING ADMISSION ABOUT HER WNBA SKILLSET

On Wednesday afternoon, the WNBA announced their production of “Year 1”, which is a four-episode docu-series that focuses on four rookies (Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso, Rickea Jackson, and Nika Muhl), and how they navigate their first seasons in the WNBA.

Seattle Storm rookie Muhl is heavily featured in the first episode, which was released on Wednesday and is available on YouTube

And at one point in the video, Muhl made a dispirited admission about where her current skillset stands.

"I need to... just work on the things that I feel like are going to get me even further," Muhl said.

"You know, this league is really really good. And I'm now starting to understand that I need to have more assets in order for me to be more dangerous," Muhl added.

Hearing Muhl come to terms with the fact that she needs to become more dangerous if she's to succeed in the WNBA hits hard.

Especially given the lack of playing time she has received on the Storm thus far.

All fans can do is hope that she's earning her keep every day during the Storm's practice, and that she'll eventually earn herself some playing time this season.
