DALTON KNECHT NAMES THE BEST NBA PLAYER OF ALL-TIME

The Los Angeles Lakers made a splash in this year’s NBA Draft.

Not only did they take Bronny James in the second round, a highly anticipated pick, but they also acquired Dalton Knecht in the first round.

Knecht was a solid player during his time at the University of Tennessee, and he made even more of a name for himself during the NCAA Tournament.

Both players could make an immediate impact on the Lakers’ roster heading into the 2024-2025 season, especially considering that they are trying anything possible to improve their standing in the Western Conference.

Knecht was interviewed before the draft, where fans got to see a bit of his personality, and they were also able to hear his answers to some hot-button questions.

As shared by SLAM Online via NBA Central on Twitter, when asked about the best NBA player of all time, Knecht responded with, “Kevin Durant.”

One might wonder if his answer would be different now that he’s on the Lakers because LeBron James is his teammate.

James is often regarded as one of the best players in league history, but Knecht chose Durant over him when asked about it at that moment.

Regardless of who Knecht thinks is the better, he will have the opportunity to play with both LeBron and Bronny this year, and not Durant.

Can the Lakers find a way to bring their rookies into the fold and make their way back to the NBA Finals for the first time since the COVID bubble?
