CHICAGO SKY COACH BREAKS SILENCE ON THE 'CHALLENGE' ANGEL REESE FACES ON THURSDAY

Teresa Weatherspoon has got to be feeling solid about where her Chicago Sky team stands right now.

After enduring a four-game losing streak a couple weeks back, the Sky have rebounded with two straight victories to get their record back to 6-9 on the 2024 WNBA season.

Yet, Angel Reese and company will have their hands full on Thursday when the two-time defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces come to town.

Aces forward A'ja Wilson is playing like the world's best female basketball player right now.

And prior to Thursday's contest, Weatherspoon addressed the test Angel Reese has ahead of her.

When asked about Reese's upcoming matchup against Wilson, Weatherspoon said, "Angel enjoys a challenge. She knows who A'ja is, she knows how good A'ja is, and what she has to do to be competitive in this matchup," per TJ Sports Queens

"But we know that we don't go into it as one person," Weatherspoon added. "We go into it as a team. So we back everything from one another."

After Reese's career-best performance against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Sunday, it will be fascinating to see how Reese fares against Wilson.
