BOMANI JONES CALLS OUT LEBRON JAMES FOR 'EMBARRASSING' DECISION

You can count Bomani Jones among the people who isn't a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers drafting Bronny James.

After the Lakers made LeBron's oldest son the No. 55 overall pick in the second round of the NBA Draft Thursday evening, Jones took to X/Twitter to express his disapproval.

"Still can’t believe either Lebron thinks this is a good idea and it’s embarrassing more ppl in my profession won’t call this the clown s--t that it is. but here we are," Jones tweeted.

Not surprisingly, Jones received pushback from some of his followers, including one who argued it was "cool" to see LeBron and his son team up.

Cool for whom?" Jones responded. "Cuz I don’t see how this is cool for Bronny at all. It was gonna be hard enough for him without this."

Jones also said this was an example of "daddy's ego run amok" even if it made for a "cute headline."

"And hey, if you say it’s just the 55 pick, cool. I get that argument. But when he makes the team? And that feels like a when, not an if. We’ll reconvene then," Jones added.

Bronny James entered the NBA Draft after one season at USC, during which he averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 25 games.

During the draft process, he reportedly worked out for only the Lakers and Phoenix Suns, with LA ultimately selecting him today as many envisioned.
