Ahead of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway, Kyle Larson took part in the sixth round of Kubota High Limit Racing's Midweek Money Series at Lake Ozark Speedway on Wednesday, June 26.
Driving the #57 sprint car, the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Larson finished sixth at Lake Ozark Speedway in Missouri. He couldn't hold off the dominance of Corey Day to win $20,000 prize money.
Day started the race from 15th place and grabbed the lead on lap 14 of the 35. Once he took control, he led the final 22 laps, dominating all the way to the checkered flag. He crossed the finish line by an impressive margin of 2.577 seconds ahead of Justin Peck.
It was Day's fifth win, leaving him one win away from equaling Rico Abreu, Kyle Larson, and Brad Sweet's six-win record as the winningest driver in Kubota High Limit Racing history.
Meanwhile, Justin Peck finished runner-up, followed by Spencer Bayston, Carson Macedo, and Brad Sweet in the top five. Kyle Larson, James McFadden, Parker Price Miller, Giovanni Scelzi, and Tanner Thorson completed the top 10.
