Eighteen races have taken place in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. Christopher Bell claimed his third win of the season after winning the USA Today 301 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday, June 23.
In a wet-weather showdown at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Bell dominated the race, leading 148 of the 305 laps, and held off Chase Briscoe in overtime to cross the finish line in P1.
With the win, Bell gained 57 points and moved to sixth place in the points table with 555 points.
After finishing P4 at NHMS, Kyle Larson secured 37 points and regained the top spot in the points table, tying with Chase Elliott for the top spot. Both the drivers have a 40-point lead over Denny Hamlin with 620 points.
Chase Elliott, who started on pole, failed to utilize his advantage and finished 18th. He gained 29 points and is second in the points table with 620 points and one win.
Ryan Blaney, the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion, finished P25. He gained 25 points and is eighth in the points table with 526 points.
